The Respite Center is a weekend respite facility located in O’Fallon, MO for individuals with developmental disabilities who display significant behavioral challenges. The children, during their stay, will have the opportunity to enjoy an interactive, exciting, and safe environment in a fun-loving atmosphere.
The Respite Center has the capacity to serve five children, ages 6-21, each weekend. Individuals that attend the program have their own private bedroom and a Jack and Jill style bathroom. We provide 1:1 support during awake hours, and two staff overnight. Home-cooked family-style meals are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Activities
Field trips are planned on Saturdays and Sundays to various locations around St. Charles and St. Louis counties. There are also on-site activities including access to the facility’s multi-purpose room, fitness room, sensory room, arts and crafts room, playground and computer lab.
