Thinking Caps On … It’s Time to Play!

Supporters of Community Living came out to a sold-out Trivia Night to help raise money to benefit the SOAR (Social Opportunities and Recreation) program, providing year-round enrichment and social activities for teens with developmental disabilities enrolled in middle or high school.

The Trivia Night was hosted by the “BeCAUSE We Care” Team — Kelly Rector, Barbara and Brooke Goode, Chelsea McClafferty, Beth Ching, Nancy Emge and Christine Jaeger. (Thank you, ladies!)

With the support of our community, the night raised close to $16,000! “On behalf of our families, friends, neighbors, students and all others that are touched by someone with a disability, we thank you for your support,” Beth said. “Together we can and will make a difference.”

The hosts have all been touched in one way or another by a person with a disability and have all become actively involved with Community Living. They all believe, “With the help of the community, we strongly feel that we can continue to make a difference for all those with disabilities.” Click here to watch the video about SOAR.
